Andrew Conway (Mickey) passed away July 22, 2022. He was born on May 23, 1936 to George & Della Conway in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada.
At the age of 1, his parents moved to Tucson to cure his father’s TB. They returned to Detroit one year later. They also moved to San Francisco during the war. They returned to Tucson in 1950 and Mickey graduated from Tucson High School in 1954, where he was an Eagle Scout.
He earned his private pilot’s license and crop dusted in Avra Valley cotton fields. He was drafted into the Army in 1957. After the Army, Mickey worked for American Airlines in Tucson & Dallas for 32 years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed flying and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, sister Terry Ann Di Giulio, nieces & nephews. Donations in Mickey’s memory can be made to the Southern Arizona Humane Society. Private services were held on August 1 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
