Timothy Lamond Mobley (affectionately known as Bubby or Timmy) was the first of three children born to Lillian and Melvin Mobley on June 29, 1965 in Miami, Florida. Growing up, Tim was very entertaining. He would often make everyone he came in contact with laugh and brighten their day with his infectious smile.
Tim was very ambitious. He was also an intelligent man of many talents. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. He graduated from Culinary Arts and pursued a career as a renowned chef. Tim loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest.
While living in Michigan he met and married Rhonda Mobley. Later in life, Tim moved to Utah and experienced the joy of being a father to his one and only child, Brooklyn Park.
Years later, he returned to Atlanta to be surrounded by his family. He was extremely close to his mother and did everything he could to make sure she was taken care of. His aunts and uncle in Washington State were near and dear to his heart, as they played a vital role in his life. He was instrumental in the upbringing of his nieces and nephew, and will always be remembered for the changes he made to better his life, as well as theirs.
On the afternoon on February 9, 2015, Timothy Lamond Mobley went on to his eternal rest. As he sleeps on, he leaves behind his mother, Lillian Clarice Mobley, his father Melvin Mobley, Jr. (Celie), daughter Brooklyn Park, sisters Tammy Mobley, Ashlee Mobley, Brittany Mobley, brother Todd Mobley, nieces Jesseka Mobley, Jerae White-Pittman (Julius), Jasmine White, nephew Jerry White, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
