It has taken me over a month to be able to put in words the loss I feel. When you talk to another human being every week for 35 years and then those talks are forever gone, well the loss is uncomprihendable. We met in the Navy 1978 and formed a bond from that moment on. You lived with me for awhile in Maryland and we saw one another through the ups and downs that life was throwing our way. We battled like only two vets could, always soldiering on, there for one another. I will miss you more than than you can imagine and pray that you have found that ultimate peace you always sought.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I was stunned when Mark told me Rick had passed.  Mark and Rick had a great time recently working on a video.  I am so blessed with that memory of him.  Mark and I both remarked about his boundless energy and his talent for being a 'larger than life force'.  I know he is entertaining in heaven with that same energy.

It was fun to have Rick as a part of our group of friends during my stay in Atlanta at Mt. Paran.  He was a kind soul and easy to be around.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

I do not know if a lot of you knew that Rick could make a sound just like "Flipper" the Dolphin!  For the time that he was in my life.......I always remember him with a big smile and always laughing!  I loved the stories of when he was in Key West and was diving with the Mel Fisher Company there.  We had such fun times in New Orleans and also in Florida!  When he worked at the Harley Davidson Store.....he sent me some cool stickers cause he always thought it was pretty cool that his Sis rode a Harley Motorcycle.  Gonna be so hard to have to say Goodbye for now Brother, but it is only for now.  I know you are at peace and in the most awesome place ever!!!!  You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart for always......you were an awesome Brother to have!!  I love you.....your Sis, Pam

What a wonderful friend Rick was to me.
No matter the distance between us Rick was always in my thoughts. He could light up the whole room when he came in.He had quick wit and loved the Lord.
   He dressed up like Jesus for a Music Video I did for New Life.Everyone Loved His part.And he told me he could'nt wait to meet Jesus for REAL.
  I know Rick is Happy and at Peace now.

"Donna and I knew something was wrong Sunday at Mount Paran's 9am service, when an usher came & got Jimmy, who was sitting 3 rows in front in his regular pew. Then an usher got his Grand Daughter Lisa & her husband. 
  We are very sorry to learn of Ricky's untimely death at such a young age.
And we pray that God will Comfort his family during this tragic time. The
Good News is that Ricky has entered the Pearly Gates and now is sitting at the feet of Jesus. So may God bless his Wife, Mother, Father, Sister and all Ricky's family and friends and the Precious Memories they've had with Ricky."

At some point in Elementary School, everyone has a best friend (other than their family.)  I am proud to say that Ricky was mine. Our parents let us rotate going to each other's homes on Sunday afternoons (probably to make us more willing to go back for Sunday evening services.)  His parents were "Uncle Jimmy & Aunt Margaret" to me.  Renee was our "other sister".  I will cherish those memories and look forward to the day when we see each other again in the life to come.
