Robert (Bobby) Gene Aldridge (born February 10, 1943) passed away on Sunday January 26, 2020 after suffering a stroke. He is survived by his fiancé Susan Dallen; daughter Abigail Sidibe and her husband Olivier Sidibe; daughter Margaret (Meg) Aldridge Krennerich, her husband Christopher Krennerich and grandchildren Charlie and Stella Krennerich. He is preceded in death by his daughter Tanya Aldridge; previous wife, Brooke Holliman Aldridge; mother Doris Cox Aldridge Gore; father James Aldridge and brother Gary Aldridge. Bobby was born in Kingsport, TN and grew up in Wilmington, NC where he began his lifelong love of the water. Bobby moved to and established roots in Atlanta, GA over 40 years ago. Bobby was strong, compassionate, thoughtful and generous. He had a passion for cooking, fly fishing, landscaping his land and watching his children and grandchildren grow. He will be dearly missed by all he touched in his lifetime.
