Monica K. Cecile Larson

Monica was born on October 29, 1982 in Traverse City, the daughter of Daniel Bush and Anne Kuhlman. She attended Interlochen Elementary, West Junior High, and was a 2001 graduate of Traverse City West Senior High School, where she was a track star, breaking records in shot put and discus. Monica worked for Dean Transportation and was a Certified Nurse Assistant.

On August 9, 2003, Monica was wed to the love of her life, Brandon Larson. She was a very proud mother of two amazing children, Landon and Kailyn. Monica was loving and kind spirited and a fantastic mother, best friend, and wife. She enjoyed tubing, kayaking, and fishing on the river, and loved including her children in her hobbies, like golfing and makings crafts. Monica loved Pinterest and created the most beautiful nail art.

Monica is survived by her Brandon Larson; children, Landon and Kailyn Larson; parents, Daniel (Lorri) Bush and Anne Kuhlman; brothers, Matthew (Tricia) Bush and Marcus Bush; grandparents, Elizabeth Bush, and Robert and Beverly Kuhlman; nephews and nieces, Kane and Bradyen Bush and Ellory and Lyla Hansen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Diane Larson; sister-in-law, Jamie (Joshua) Hansen; grandmother-in-law, Frances T. Chamberlain; and many other family members.

Preceding Monica in death are her grandparents, Norbert Bush, Cecile Kuhlman, William Chamberlain, James Larson, and Florence Larson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at noon at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with visitation starting at 10:30 am, also at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to:
