Rafael Gonzalez

Rafael Gonzalez was born on March 4, 1942 to Angel and Reynalda Gonzalez in Magueyes, Jalisco, as one of sixteen brothers and sisters. He is survived by His wife of 54 years, Son, five Daughters, six grand Kids, one Great Grand Son and nine Brothers and Sisters. He migrated to the United States in 1975 in search of a better future for his family. His family was always his number one priority: He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a great friend. Rafael always looked forward to our Wednesday night gatherings where he would spoil us and cook our favorite foods. As the “CHEF” of the family some of the favorite dishes were Pozole, Menudo and his famous Birria. Rafael was always happy and smiling specially during the Dodger games and he loved and enjoyed taking care of his garden.

Rafael Gonzalez nació el 4 de marzo de 1942. Sus papas fueron Angel y Reynalda Gonzalez, nació en Magueyes Jalisco y fue uno de 16 hijos. Le sobrevive su esposa cual estuvieron casados por 54 años, su hijo, cinco hijas, seis nietos, un bisnieto y nueve Hermano(a)s. Mi papa emigro a los Estados Unidos en 1975 en busca de un mejor futuro para su familia. Su familia siempre fue su prioridad, fue un gran esposo, padre, abuelito, hermano, tío y un gran amigo. Rafael siempre esperaba que llegara el miércoles donde siempre nos preparaba sus favoritos platillos. Como el “CHEF” de la familia sus platos favoritos fueron el pozole, menudo y su famosa birria. Rafael siempre estaba contento y con una sonrisa especialmente cuando miraba el juego de los Dodgers. A él le encantaba y disfrutaba mucho de su jardín.
