In loving memory of Lori Kim Lauffer Hiser who went to her heavenly home on March 26, 2011 while hospitalized in San Pedro. Lori was born September 20, 1957 and lived her entire life in the South Bay area. She was the first daughter born to Brian and Renee Lauffer of Torrance. Lori attended Torrance school and graduated from North High school in 1975 with honors in homemaking. She attended El Camino College and classes at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Lori was trained as in inventory control specialist and was employed by Crydom, a Division of International Rectifier, Jay-El Products, Amp Inc., Neutrogena Corp and for many years employed by Henkel, a manufacturer of cosmetics until they moved at which time she worked for Arbonne Cosmetics until her health failed her. Lori will always be remembered for the capable, independent, generous, fun-loving and friendly person that she was. She loved her home and enjoyed all aspects of homemaking. Her many talents included being very creative with her sewing projects and creativity on the computer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones who will carry her memory in each of their hearts. Lori is survived by her parents, Brian and Renee Lauffer of Torrance; son, Brian J. Lauffer of San Pedro; granddaughter, Kira; two sisters, Christie (John) Quintana of Torrance and Lisa Lauffer (David) Campana of Torrance. A memorial service will be held to honor her life on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary at 1223 Cravens Avenue in Torrance.
