We are sad to announce the passing of retired Metro Toronto Police constable Winston Harcourt King in his 82nd year, after a courageous battle with a long illness.
He will be greatly missed by his partner Jennette Farley, by his son Brian and grand children Tyanna King, Tyrell King and Ellise Leach, by his surviving brothers Jeffrey, Edward (Bermuda) and Edson Sargeant (USA), as well as sister-in-law Yvonne, niece Cheryl and nephew Wayne, and by his many overseas nephews, nieces and cousins.
His many friends, as well as his policing colleagues will also be saddened by his passing.
A funeral service for Winston will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 10:00 a.m., at the Anglican Church of St. Paul, L’Amoreaux, 3333 Finch Avenue East at Warden, Scarborough, Ontario M1W 2R9, with viewing to occur between 8:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. and with interment to follow at Pine Hills cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 1R1.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Winston's name may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
