Bob, son of the late Wm. John Crawford (Jack) and Edna Kathleen Fraser (Kay), passed away peacefully after a long battle with Progressive Non-Fluent Aphasia Corticobasal Syndrome, a rare brain disease. He leaves behind 5 siblings: Patricia Brewer (James), Karen Quennell, Raymond Crawford (Fumie), Beverly Cornish, John Crawford (Anna), nephew Graham Brewer (Janet), nieces Melanie Cornish, Hilary Brewer, grandniece Teagan Moher, grandnephews Aidan Brewer and Carson Moher. Although this devastating disease took a huge toll on his physical abilities, he never gave up and had a strong will to live which could be seen though his smile and positive thumbs up. Bob worked for Manulife Financial for the entirety of his 45- year career where he enjoyed the challenge of various positions offered to him working his way up to Systems Analyst. Upon retirement, he switched his dedication to the exploration of his family tree and loved to share family stories he uncovered. In his spare time, Bob was passionate about travel and explored different architecture styles and gardens all over Canada, the US and Europe. He was a theatre enthusiast, loved reading and music and was always excited to share laughs over a game of cards with his family and a competitive game of bridge with friends. Dining out was one of his enjoyments of life! The family would like to thank Rekai Wellesley Centre for their care over the last three plus years and the six years of dedicated support and kindness shown by his support workers from Castle Home Health Care. Toronto General Hospital staff made Bob's last days comfortable and we could not have asked for any better care. Cremation handled by Rosar-Morrison Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Masellis' Neurology Department at Sunnybrook Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Online Condolences may be left at www.rosar-morrison.com.
