Passed away at home on September 12th, 2015 in his 52nd year. Predeceased by his Loving Parents Peter and Alma. Loving Brother to Peter, Daryl, and Bill. Father to Jesse, Dylan, Colton, and Garrett. Wayne will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends. Wayne’s family would like to extend thanks to Loft Community Services for their constant support and care. A Visitation will be held at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME (2570 Danforth Ave. Toronto, Ontario 416 698 3121) on Sunday, September 20th, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. A burial will take place on Monday, September 21st, 2015 at DUFFIN MEADOWS CEMETERY (2505 Brock Road, Pickering, ON) at 1:00 pm.

Never Ready to Say Good-bye

We’re never ready to say good-bye

To someone we hold dear.

If it were up to us, dear Wayne

We’d always keep you here.

But God had reasons of His own

And plans we cannot know,

And these are always for our good,

Though it may seem not so.

Our arms are empty and our hearts

Are filled with tears and grief,

For we who loved each day with you,

Now find those days too brief.

Yet, if we could only heaven see,

We’d know you’re happy there,

And we could never call you back

When such great joy you share.

And so we’ll trust you to God’s great care

And know some day, once more,

We’ll hold you to our hearts again

When we reach heaven's shore.
