Venceslav Juretic

Venceslav is the beloved husband of Alberta for 62 years. He is the loving father of Maria Juretic (Antti Patjas), Joseph (Antonella) and cherised Nonno of Nicholas and Mikayla. He will be dearly missed by his nieces, cousins and their families here in Toronto and in Slovenia. He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Venceslav came to Canada in 1957 from Slovenia as a machinist. He retired in 1998 from Canada Post in Mississauga. The family would like to thank Dom Lipa for the wonderful care they gave their father, especially during the last days of his life.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-9pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.

In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations to the Diabetes Association or to Dom Lipa in memory of Venceslav Juretic.

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.
