She attended George Brown College where she obtained a clerk/accounting diploma.
Valerie quickly adapted to the Canadian way of living but never abandoned her Jamaican roots.She soon found a love for BINGO! and the casino thanks to her new life long friends.
Valerie, had a great love for her family and friends especially her 13 grand children and those she adopted into her family Valerie also had a passion for music and dance. Often you could see her singing or dancing to her favorite tunes.However her love for Jesus Christ came above all things and was unwavering.
Valerie, is survived by her children Sharon, Mellonie,Karen,Howard and proceeded in death by her son Glen. She also leaves behind two sisters Joyce and Doreen and proceeded in death by her beloved brother Carlton, mother Isolene and father George. She also leaves behind a whole host of nieces,nephews,cousins,grand nieces,grand nephews and friends.
Valerie was the foundation and backbone of her family. Her life was an excellent example of what a true mother and strong woman should be.
Mommy you will be greatly missed. We will love you forever and ever. Amen.
