Rob was born to Art and Sharon Nicholls on November 16, 1964 in Toronto ON
Rob enjoyed playing hockey and baseball in his youth but settled on rugby as his favourite sport and was a proud member of the Buccaneers Rugby Club.
Rob’s other passion was music. From classical and jazz to punk rock and heavy metal he enjoyed it all. He especially loved live music attending hundreds of concerts in large auditoriums to small venues along the Danforth. It was a constant in his life right until the very end.
Rob had many friends, from his early school years to recent days. He was always making new friends with his love of music and laughter.
Rob was an only child but was embraced by his Aunt Toodles and Uncle Jim and spent many wonderful times with his cousins, Ricky, Danny, Darlene, Cindy, Christine, Gary, Chris and Jennifer.
Rob leaves behind his beloved children Sam (Shannon), Olivia (Jack) and his grandsons, Jacob and Lucas.
His sparkle and lust for life will be missed by all.
