Reginald was born in Accra, Ghana on November 11, 1957 to his father the late Jacob Otoo from the Ashanti Tribe and mother the late Elizabeth Abbey from the GA Tribe
Reginald was preceded in death by his loving family, Foster grandparents Alexander Quarcoo and Elizabeth Amoo. Father Jacob Otoo and Mother Elizabeth Abbey and younger brother Kingsley Otoo.
Reggie is survived by his brothers Jacob and Emmanuel and sister Millicent and combined their 8 sons and 5 daughters, as well as his ex-wife and friend Denise, son Alexander Otoo and 2 grandchildren Miya and Arriana.
Reggie attended Kingbu Middle School, as well as The National Technical College (Eastern Region). He also played basketball at C.Y.O. Basketball Team in Accra. In those years, Reggie was the best player on the Ghana National Team.
Reggie enjoyed working as a baker at France Patisserie on Midland Avenue and Rivera Bakery on College Street, Toronto. He made bake goods of all sorts from muffins and Danishes to a variety of breads. Reggie would say when he comes home that his products are the best, they are flying off the shelf like hot cakes.
Reggie also loved to cook at home for friends and family. He especially had a passion for cooking, especially Ghanaian stews, soups with lots of heat.
We will miss our Reginald Cabutey Otoo, a dear member of family - a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. As we mourn, we will do so with hope that because Reginald loved the LORD, to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Praises be to God our Father and Son Jesus Christ
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.giffenmackdanforth.com for the Otoo family.
