Peacefully at her home early Saturday evening, May 26, 2012 at age 71. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy McCann. Loving mother of Tony (Betty Ann) and Garry (Ruth). Cherished daughter of Richard and Florence Singleton. Dear Grandmother of Nancy (Leutus) and Gary. Loved Nanny of Tonimarie, Phobreanna, Isaac, Leutus and Maurice. Also survived by her sister, brothers, many nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at the GIFFEN MACK “DANFORTH” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway) 416-698-3121. Service in the chapel on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go...

I have so many things to see and do.

You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.

Be thankful for the beautiful years

I gave to you my love.

How much you gave to me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you have shown,

But now it’s time I traveled on alone.
