Pat always teased the crap out of me and, of course, I would always respond in kind.  He was such a hale and hardy man and it was with some surprise to learn of his passing.  Lew and I will certainly miss his visits at our trailer.  Such an integral part of the season.  I would often stop by when walking the dog and it will be with some sadness this coming season to see someone else on Pat and Loretta's deck.    Since Pat had often said that the park was his "little slice of heaven" it stands to reason that he now will have a "BIG slice of heaven.   Rest in Peace my old friend.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy & condolences to the Mahoney family.  I remember chatting with your Dad when he was at the BBF one day only last year or a couple of yrs ago & he started the conversation by asking me if I was from Brigus & we started our confab from there.  I told him how my mother was a Spracklin from Riverhead (actually she was born the same year as your Dad) & how I used to play with his children & others in the neighborhood when I would be visiting with my friend, Debbie Mercer (Roberts),  who lived a few doors away from him then back in the day!!!  He also told me how he was now living in Toronto & still came back to Brigus for visits.  I got to say he certainly was a very friendly man & it was nice to reminisce about the by-gone days of when we used to play games like Spotlight, etc..  God Bless.  RIP, Mr. Mahoney.

Pat will be missed by many, myself included.  I will always have fond memories of Pat wondering down to the lot, singing one of his favorite tunes or sitting on the deck, reminiscing about past experiences, or special events in his life. Condolences to all Paddy's children & grandchildren.  Paddy was a great friend to me (Fred) during my working days in New Brunswick.   We enjoyed his visits every summer .  Last summer he visited and we talked for hours.

My sincere condolences to Roger and his brothers and sisters on the loss of your Dad. Pat was always kind to me, he actually drove me on my wedding day!(the first wedding...lol). He always had a comment on my pearly whites.It was a long time since I see him, but got to see him last year at Roger’s house (garage) before he went back. Rest Easy Pat, and thoughts are with all your children & grandchildren at this hard time.

To all the family our heartfelt condolences go out to you at this sad time. We have known Pat for over 20 years as our neighbor at Donro Park best neighbor to have ever no one will ever replace you. Brenda no more Bonnet (Awning) Pat would only let Martin and Mary open and close his bonnet .  Miss you now Pat not sure how my summers will be without you Much Love forever and always Mary ,Martin and Zachary

Paul and I will miss our long chats about Newfoundland with Pat.  He was a wonderful fun loving person. RIP

Pat was a dear friend and will be missed more then we can say.  Life will never be quite the same without him.  

Our dear neighbour and friend till the end.  Jim will miss those mid-week, quiet talks with him at Pat's fire.  My funniest Pat moment was when he offered to water my plants up north through the week while I was at work.  He made sure to give them all a great soaking - including the plastic ones!  Oh Patrick, you were one of a kind and I cannot believe we will get through a summer without you.
