With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Imogene Gill-Cave, born January 1, 1935, in Barbados, who passed away on December 14, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
Daughter of the late Eustace C. & Marie A. Gill, mother to Cheryl Gill of St. Phillip, Barbados, cherished aunt to Norman Dash, his wife Arlene, and daughter of Toronto (caregivers), Pamela Roach and Delores Dash of Barbados, Michelle Roach, David Stuart, Joy D’Ornellas, Maria and Miguel Soares, Ignee and Ivor Phillips, Tina Mayborn, Jennifer and Lisa Gill of the United States, and dear cousin to the Forde family of Toronto. Predeceased by siblings; Eustene Dash, Deborah Phillips, Mona Soares, Bernard and Cyril Gill.
Great aunt to Nicola, Theresa, Natalie, Shawn, Brandon, Ryan, and Myles. Great-great aunt to Khandys and Mikaela. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Hamilton Gill, and cousin Sylvia Goodridge. Cousin to the Gill, Sealy, and Forde families.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th, at 9 a.m., followed by a service at 11 am at Jarret Funeral home, 660 Kennedy rd. Scarborough.
