Since she marry to my brother she live life very good that only stay short time after 1976 she went through ups and downs but stay strong last few years was very hard for all family her spirit was amazing till she took last breath I we pray God keep her like her wishes

I remember Grandma was always so happy when I came to visit her. She would always give me hugs and kisses and talk to me about my life and school. She loved to watch hindi movies and every time I came over one would be playing and I would watch with her. 
She was always happy and smiling and making jokes. I will miss her very much. 

Dear Mom,
I will always remember your sayings that held so much meaning to me.   Here's an example:  "Lose your eyes, and you lose the world".  In Hindi, "Ankhen gaieenh, tho jahaan gayaah".  Such sayings always leave me in a state of wonder when I recall them.  In a sense this saying could also mean that if this world were to be without its wonderers (poets) its beauty would also be lost.  I hope that I can carry on your wonder for life, and leave a memory behind that would encourage others to do the same.  You would encourage me to see the beauty and love in this world and I thank you for this.  Another lyric that reminds me of you "When one loves, fear cannot remain", Hindi, "Jab pyaar keeya tho darna kya".  Thank you for showing me the beauty you held so dear of this world, mom.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to Nirmala’s family, especially to her children, Neil, Ruby and Mickey. Ruby is my dear friend and through her I had the opportunity to visit with Nirmala on a few occasions.  I remember Nirmala as warm and welcoming. She was a spirited woman who spoke openly and freely. From what I saw and heard, it was clear to me that being close to her family was her greatest joy. Nirmala was a courageous woman who raised wonderful children in spite of the many challenges she faced.  She lived her life to the fullest and had a great impact on her loved ones. Her struggle is over now, and I pray that she rests in peace with her loved ones who have departed ahead of her, and  I pray for comfort  for those she has left behind who are now filled with sorrow. May you find comfort in your memories and knowing that your dear mother, sister, grandmother, auntie and friend will always be near in your hearts.

My favourite memories was when we would come over to your place or in the nursing home to celebrate Mother’s Day or your birthday.  Every time I came in to your room, you were always so happy, excited and lit the whole room up.  You truly did love your grandchildren.  I will never forget your smile when you blew the candles out.  Before I would leave you would always ask for a kiss and hug because you loved me.  I’m gonna miss your charming, funny and charismatic nature.  I’m grateful what little time I spent with you.

I feel blessed to have known Nirmala. Nirmala will forever hold a special place in my heart. I'll always remember the day she took me by the hand and read my palm. A special spirit who I will always remember. 

Nirmala was my neighbour and she became best friends with me.  Me and her became soul friends, I will never let her go. She will always be in my heart.  I'm going to miss Nirmala very much and I will always think of her.  I loved her very much.

Bholee maasi that's how I used to call her.. the most lively & vibrant personality she was. Very bold on one side & soft hearted on the other.. she had spent very less time with me . But in that short span we had made sufficient memories to be cherished forever.. she had given so much love & affection when she came to India in 1997 with Mickey..she stayed with us for a month in Jalandhar, India. We had spent hours talking & laughing together.. I was 14 then.. but I still have clear picture of all those beautiful memories we made..  she never visited again to India. But she taught me to how to face life's problems boldly & with a smile on face.. I love her & miss her a lot.. RIP maasi ji!♥️
