Miles Lee Barton

He was born in Toronto, Ontario, on August 14, 1971, the son of his loving mother Coreen Barton and dedicated father Thomas Joyce (both pre-deceased).

He is survived by his daughter, Alexandria Barton, his grandson, Matteo Barton, his sister Christine Warren, her husband Edgar Warren and their two children Leelu and Chiles Warren, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Miles was a man who loved very deeply - whether a friend, partner or family member, he was always a kind, generous and loyal soul. He was an extremely proud and loving father and grandfather, and a true family man at heart, at his happiest when at any gathering with family and friends.

He took much pride and passion in his actions, working professionally for many years as a chef, and was personally passionate about healthy lifestyle, eating well and body building.

He will be remembered for his charm, his sweet and infectious smile, and witty sense of humour that everyone loved and adored.

A visitation for Miles will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 (1240 Woodbine Ave, East York).
