Michael, it was good to have met you on life's journey.  Your little chats were always welcomed.  At times, when I got to church early, I would walk over to you and exchange a greeting.  Last Sunday felt a bit sad, when I looked over where you always sat and you were no longer there.  I had to tell myself, that you have really taken your flight.

My sincerest condolences to the children and friends of Michael.  May God comfort you in this time of your grief.  May he rest in eternal peace.

It's saddened me to hear my close friend to me and my husband  had passed. Our great friendship and memories for over 50 years will for ever last. My deepest condolences to the campbell family. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

What I remember the most, was my siblings and I going over to call on Michael so that we can all walk to school together.  We called his father Big Mike and his son, Little Mike.
His father would kill us with jokes doing anything for Little Michael to just HURRY UP ALREADY and finish his breakfast so we wouldn't be late for school.

Walking with uncle Mike to school was so much fun!

Again, another link has been broken from our family chain.  But this will not separate us or prevent us from our continuous love for each other with the help from our God.

Our love and bonding will be stronger, with the mercy of the abiding love of Jesus Christ. 
We will continue with peace and love .

Another of our quiet and solid community stalwarts. Not one to be mouthing off in the media yet showing a different face when you met him..  He remained  committed to his community and family and with a wry sense of humour.  First met him and his spouse Maureen in the late 1990's....When she died suddenly he took it all in stride. Spoke with him a few weeks ago and  as usual asked him about his long plait and his vintage car. We always joked about the changes in life and how he was able to keep a steady hand.  And suddenly he is gone...but not forgotten. May his spirit continue as an inspiration to us all.
