Mrs. May Ying Wong

May was predeceased by her husband David Jr., her eldest son Eugene and her daughter Patsy. She is survived by her children Hanney & Helen, and Tim as well as grandchildren Eva, Andy, Eric, Janice (Scott), Jeffrey and great grandchildren Mika & Ava.

She and her husband David Jr. immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong and worked very hard to provide opportunities for their children. She cared deeply and always provided love for her family, she supported her children and grandchildren through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.

She often spoke about life justness and fairness, she was a persistent fighter, thru her life we learned what resilience and perseverance truly look like.

The past few years were difficult for her with advanced stage of dementia in a long-term care facility. She never stopped fighting, no matter how sick she was in hospital with Covid or other health issues, she was able to recover and return from hospital. Mom, may you rest in peace.

A Remembrance Service will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home @ 6191 Yonge St. from 10:30 to11:30 am on May 15th, 2023 (Monday); It will be followed by a burial service @12:00 noon @ Westminster Cemetery @ 5830 Bathurst Street, North York.
