Lawrence - I am so sorry to hear of Maurices' passing.  We had some great times together.   Maurice even shared my birthday with me.
He will be missed by all his friends.

I remember the trips for lunch, in Stoney Creek, your summer home, looking out over the lake. He is still looking over that lake today! I cannot believe I will never see you two together again.

Maurice will always be my all time favorite patient at the pharmacy. We had many lovely chats about travelling and dreams about the world and he always brightened up my day no matter how busy or stressful it was. One time Maurice found out that I was planning a trip to Maui and went out of his way to get me a pineapple and a flag of Hawaii with a sweet note attached to it! This is just one of my many favorite memories of Maurice. He is extremely caring and thoughtful and I feel very fortunate to have known him and will certainly miss his smiley face.  Maurice, you made the world a better place and you will forever be in my memory. 

Dear Family - My deepest sympathy on the passing of Uncle Maurice.  He always went out of his way to chat with me at family events and to make me feel included.  He was a "force to be reckoned with", and I know his passing will leave a deep space at family gatherings.

I remember as a child having a project on Canada for geography at school and asked Maurice if he could send me some information as he lived there! He sent a lovely large (and expensive) coffee-table type book all about Canada which was a great help and also an interesting read.
Another memory was one of the frequent trips to Heathrow with my father to collect Maurice when he flew over to the UK. His comment about it being cold in London (it was just above freezing) made me ask how cold it was in Toronto when he left. "Minus 15, but it didn't feel as cold as this" was the reply.
