Mary Arapura

Mary Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87 on Friday, August 17, 2018. She will be greatly missed by her son Zach Philip Arapura and daughter in law Annette. She was a loving Nana to Allysa and Ariella Arapura. She will be remembered dearly by her family and friends. Mary had a heart of gold and a generous soul that touched many. She had a deep passion for helping those in need which was evident in her many years working tirelessly as a nurse and helping many come to Canada. She was strong and independent, always having so much love to give and expecting so little in return. Mary was a kind-hearted woman who always tried to see the best in people. The world was a better place with her here but now we know she is watching over us forever – our guardian angel.

Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kenney Road, Scarborough on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 4-8 pm. and Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maria Goretti Parish, 717 Kennedy Road, Scarborough on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 12 pm. Private cremation to follow.
