IMEE..my mentor during highschool days..if not for her I will never get over my stage fright....ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST...that was our modern jazz dance music...I also spent hours  in their family house in the city of San Fdo, La Union after school as it is just a few minutes walking distance for me to go home...Eat our favorite cheese bread in front of DMMSU...Mae Flores family business...then it happens to all..on college days...we never saw each other...good there is FB...so we started exchanging messages ...there is never a dull moment with her...I will surely miss you!!! my heart aches...but rest in peace sissy...now heaven got one superb lady and fill them with fun and laughters!!! my deepest symphaty to her family....

tita imeeh was not only fun and loving but the kindest. she took me and my older brother in like her own when we first moved to canada. although she’s my blood aunt, we were strangers to her and she  welcomed us with open arms. she made moving to canada very comfortable and i felt nothing but family. she would always take me to spadina and buy the coolest home gadgets teaching me how to become a young lady. she was the best. every time i saw her, she was always laughing and being the cool aunt she is. my heart is heavy. i love you so much tita. for the longest time you were my mom. thank you.

Maria was such a sweetie and a fun person to work with. I will  always remember and  how we enjoyed her Filopino food that she made to bring to our pot luck lunches at St Mikes. So sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to her son and family.

I am an old work colleague of Maria's from a few years back at St. Michael's Hospital nephrology department  we quickly and easily became friends - Maria truly just made the day to day working life more fun 
Simply put she was just and fun and loving - what more could you ask for !!!  The best I can do is carry her spirit with me
