Dear Lois-Forever

I will never forget you.   Sincere good person I had come to know
at St. Timothy Catholic School.

Lois and I were first cousins, who did not
Really get to know each other until later 
In life. We made up for the delay when our
Families came together in the seventies,and
Became very close.My wife and I loved her
very much, and our hearts are aching with
her passing.May God bless her soul.

I was saddened to hear from a mutual friend that Lois had "gone home" but I am forever grateful for her dedicated and loyal service as my secretary at St. Daniel School. North York, from 1978 to 1983.

My sincere condolences to family and friends.

As testified by many, Lois was a kind and gentle person who was welcoming and respectful to everyone who came into the school: an experienced mother at home as well as a comforting den mother to the pupils  (and sometimes the teachers). Occasionally, institutional dynamics meant that her sweet personality and wisdom were  needed, called upon, and ultimately appreciated in a peacekeeping role.

Lois was competent and courageous in more than a few ways as noted in her eagerness to accompany the senior students and staff on the annual challenging camping trip to the wilds of Haliburton. She was a real trooper and her camp coffee was superb! Thanks again Lois. Hopefully, we will see you on the other shore.

What a wonderful woman, So caring, inclusive, accepting and thoughtful. I will miss you Lois xO

Lois will remain a beautiful and true angel to us in every sense of the word. Her spirit and kind and soul-filled selfless works, that she did not want brought to the forefront, spoke to her humility and generosity of spirit.  Lois will remain one of the very best of what this world offers in humanity. We will miss her very much and wish her a safe journey. God speed to our dear friend Lois. Lois & Howard had been friends of ours for over 45 years.  In all this time I only remember Lois as being a very giving and caring person which she gave freely and with great happiness.  She adored her husband and family and was always so proud
