Ken was such a kind-hearted, good natured man. He was a genuine type of person that is so rare, and deeply cherished. He made everyone around him feel welcome in his presence. Sending my deepest condolences to the family.

To Ken's beloved family,

We extend our deepest condolences on Ken's passing.  In viewing the many Facebook posts from his family, it's easy to see that his daughters Olivia and Emma, his Mom, and siblings  Wendy and Steven were vital to him.
I also like to think that his faithful  relationship to religion was fostered at Beverly Hills United Church.  It was so pleasant to see a photo of that church on the memory board at Ken's funeral.  
It was through Beverly Hills, that I knew Ken and his family.  We would have been in Sunday School together, and our families took an active part in the life of the church.  Way back in 1975, Ken and I were in a 3 act play at the church, called the "Bride and the Bachelor"...Ken played the part of the groom.  Working on a play is intense, and thankfully Ken brought his sense of humor to our rehearsals.
Roy and I hope that fond memories will bring you comfort.  Ken was indeed a special man.

Although I never met him in person I regret his passing at such a young age (I am 85). He left good memories.

Words can never express the feelings of loss, especially when you have not personally experienced it. One is never prepared for the feelings of grief, especially when it creeps up so suddenly on your family. It breaks my heart that my best friend of 10 years has to go through this so soon in her life and I never thought our next time meeting up be at a funeral. Despite everything, this is about your precious father and the life he lived. Although the times we met were brief, I have seen what an amazing human he was. From meeting him for the first time, finding out both he and my dad served military time, and just sharing dad-like things our dad did are very fond memories to me. I admired his many hobbies, creative talents, and how his eyes would light up when I would ask him questions about his new camera. I spent a lot of time at your house in highschool, whether it would be going over at lunch time or staying over for sleepovers. Your dad always met me and our other friends with kindness, respected our space, and was very supportive. He would offer us whatever interesting dish he decided to make that day :) Every inflection of his individuality, every positive and goofy trait he had I see in my best friend, his family, and im 100% sure in every person he has ever met. Although no one can ever understand how you are feeling and there will be a part of your heart missing forever, I hope you find comfort in knowing your Dad’s legacy, memories, mission, and very being will always be a part of you and everyone he knew. Earth has lost someone extremely precious, admirable, and unique, but I am sure everyone in heaven is thrilled to meet him. I am so grateful I met your Dad, Kenneth Woodhouse 😊

Yes, your father was a bright light gifted with a curious mind and spirit. 
I'm so very sorry to hear of his passing. 
Your father was a respected friend of the Don Heights Unitarian Congregation. 
As membership chair we would have interesting talks about your father's need to explore what other churches had to offer. It was always a delight on the Sundays that your father chose to spend time with us. I dearly remember over  a potluck lunch your Dad's  frustration and  humour with his Apasia challenge.

Emma, I recall meeting you years ago. Please, convey my sincere condolences to all your family. 

Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend as we're going to be out of town.

My condolences to the family of Ken. I came to know Ken about 10 years ago when I was pastoring the Richmond Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church. Ken's positive attitude and great sense of humor will always be remebered by me. I had told him several times that he should pursue a career in photography becsuse he was so good at it. I really enjoyed seeing his pictures. He will be missed...but I continue to look forward to resurrection day, because I look forward to seeng him again. Blessings, Pastor James Anderson

I was encouraged by Ken who would stop by Good Shephard Community Church periodically. He wore his 'I see you' t-shirt once and we had a nice chat. I was looking forward to getting to know him better. My thoughts and prayers go out to his precious family.

Ken was a close cousin who was always in contact through his facebook page.  His pictures made my day and inspired me to look around my own world with a finer lens in my camera.  Ken would send quirky quotes about books and libraries to my message box to see if this librarian would get the joke. We are so saddened to hear about Ken’s passing!!! We knew him when he was young! A very kind man and he had a wonderful sense of humour! His talent for photography was shown on Facebook!!! 

Ken was one of my first friends, more like a cousin.  Our parents were great friends and we spent many days together enjoying dinner and watching TV while our parents played cards. Ken had an amazing sense of humour and the best laugh. We was a talented photographer and had a wonderful voice. He was a kind, generous guy who had the ability to make friends wherever he went. He loved his family, daughters Emma and Olivia, their mom Gladys, his brother Steve, sister Wendy and his mom Alice. His dad, Bob, shared his love and knowledge of baseball. Ken will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in Peace my friend.

Wendy and family,  I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear brother/son Ken.  He will always be in your heart, may he rest in peace.  

My heart goes out to the whole family. It was a delight to know Ken. He was always cheerful. He just had a way of making you laugh and smile in every conversation. Back in 2016, Ken was “buddies” with my 2yo daughter at church. Every Wednesday night at prayer meeting, my daughter would go around the sanctuary as we studied, and she would gather all the pillows that people had on the pews, and she would bring them all to Ken. He would receive each one with a grin and a “oh, thank you!” until he was buried in pillows. She looked forward to seeing him all the time, and so did I. We will all miss his cheerfulness, his art, and I will especially miss his lists on Facebook! Condolences to all his loved ones.
