Kenneth Baxter

Loving husband of Irene (née Chiasson), devoted father to Louise, Glen, John (Juliette), Richard (Kumiko), doting grandfather to Antoine and Nicolas Giacometti, and Camille Baxter. Ken leaves behind his brother Donald, father to his grandsons Yves Giacometti, many nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters in law, as well as numerous friends.

Ken was born in Verdun (Quebec), the youngest of six. He met Irene while they both worked for British American Oil and their story lasted for over 60 years. The family moved to Toronto in 1983.

Ken enjoyed tremendous success in his professional life as VP of Finance/Controller for various companies, but he believed the fathering of his beloved family was his greatest achievement.

His life was filled with exciting travel, from five-star business trips to backpacking experiences in China and India.

Ken was extremely generous and a gentleman in every way. He will be dearly missed.

There will be no funeral service at this time because of COVID-19 restrictions. The celebration of his life will be held on April 28th for family members. A link will be provided to those who wish to follow virtually.
