Beloved mother of Leslie (Shirley) Diachon and the late Phil Taylor, dear mother-in-law of Elaine, cherished grandmother to Deborah, Michelle, Darryl and Chris, proud great-grandmother to 6. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by her husband, Chris.
June loved dogs, most especially her poodles, Kelly and Dino. She loved to sit on the veranda at Les's house and watch his family while they were having a garage sale, as she had never done this before and had never experienced a garage sale. She loved to watch the people and how they all would try to get things for a lesser price... she couldn't believe some of them!
She was definitely a sun-worshipper. The hotter the better! Everyong would be looking for cooler areas and she would be quite comfortable.
June came to live with Leslie and Shirley in April of 2009, and had the chance to get to know their family a bit better. She enjoyed the kids and grandkids dropping in all the time. They would tease her about her height, especailly her grandson-in-law, Dave, who is 6'4", and would reach and give her a hug, his hands over her head. "Oh, there you are *down there*", or he'd tell her that she seemed to be getting a little taller. She would always laugh.
She got to know our second youngest grandson Wyatt very well, as he would come to our house while his mom went to work. She had a lot of laughs with him. We had to make two of everything for breakfast when Wyatt was there because he always helped Grandma eat her breakfast.
