Juan was born on July 27, 1956 in Lima, Peru and passed away in his home on December 31, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 67 years old.
He will be dearly missed by his cherished wife, Rosa (Neyra), who he would be celebrating 41 years of marriage on January 4.
He was a devoted father to his three girls, Cristina (Jeff), Carolina (David), and Claudia (Michael). He was a loving abuelito of Anthony and Alexandria. He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Toby, whom he always considered his only son. A cherished little brother of his two sisters, Ivonne and Gabby.
He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family would like to personally thank Juan’s personal support workers; Esther and Erika, who supported Rosa and cared for him daily. They would also like to thank the medical team at the ALS Clinic at Sunnybrook Hospital and the volunteers of the ALS Society of Canada for all their support.
