Joseph Vincent Kelly

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Joseph Vincent Kelly, on February 11, 2023 at the age of 38 years. Beloved son of Rita Nora Kelly and Danny Baldasio. Predeceased by his sister, Shannon Leigh and his grandparents John and Nora Kelly. Joey leaves behind his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the many friends who lives he touched and who became like family to him during his lifetime.

From his mother, Rita: Today I write an obituary for my son. He was known as Joseph Vincent Kelly or by his nickname Deezy. His friends called him Joe. He was Joey to me. Since he was a child, Joey was always making people laugh. He was fiercely loyal, and when he loved, he loved passionately. I am grateful for the time I had loving him. Joey was brave, he was one of the bravest people I have known. I don’t know how we can say goodbye to his beautiful spirit, but I do know he has impacted my life, as he has impacted many others in a tremendous way. Because of him, I will try to be kinder and more understanding. I will try to forgive those I love easier. Most of all I will keep a light on in my heart forever for him.

A celebration of Joseph's life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X1K5. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3 pm followed by a reception in the Funeral Home at 3:45 PM. In lieu of flowers or donations, please share your memories of Joseph either online or during the Funeral Service.
