Dear Aunty Rose, Olga & Eugine please accept our deepest condolences at the passing of dear uncle John, We came to know uncle John around 15 years ago.  He was such a loving, kind and very interesting gentleman to be with.  Many times I have seen uncle escorting his pretty wife to social events.  So prim & proper.  Olga your parents lived & enjoyed life together to their fullest.  What more can we ask?  Although the past few years were not what uncle John would have asked for..... being an ex-officer at war made him to face what ever situation  with strength and cheer. Dear Aunt Rose, Cousins Eugene ,Olga and all family members. Please accept our deepest sympathies' in passing away of our dear Uncle John Stephens. Though we are down under our thoughts and prayers are with you. The life journey though strange , is a interesting one- The destination of the train we travel is certain, we all get off on our nominated stations but the train goes on. Uncle Steve got off at his station we will continue till our station come and someday we would be all be reunited on the other side. I have found memories of Uncle starting from my childhood days - to mention some : The Cricket bat and ball as Christmas present when we were at Miyanawita, The ride on Lambretta scooter, the travel to Hatton in the train, many enjoyable parties , one to one advice for my betterment  and during his last visit to Australia seeing him participate in the War Memorial parade with retired service men and taking the salute was a sight to admire. Such memories' will always last in my mind.  Good Bye Uncle Steve  you will be remembered  - Safe in the arms of Jesus.
