John Robert “Bob” was born on July 18, 1929 in the City of Hamilton, ON., and raised in Toronto. Bob is predeceased by his brother Wallace Harkness and sister Kathlyn Chapman, mother Isabelle Harkness, son John Harkness and granddaughter April Taylor.
Survived by his wife Janice and Bob’s nephews Eric (Marilyn), Lorne, Neil (Jane) and Glen (Heather) and grandson Adam and Great Grandson Cameron. His sister’s in law Angela, Sandra, Marilyn (Kenny), Pamela, Glenda, Susan, Cynthia (Lou), Vivian (Frank), Shelda (Eldon) and Andrea (Tony), and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack and Trulls on Wednesday, November 2 from 11 - 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm.
