Joan we thought of you with love today,thank you for my beautiful daughter in law Christine.God has you in his keeping.We will always have you in our heart and good memories.

We have looked at all the wonderful photos of very photogenic Joan (that wonderful smile) and her loving family.
Photos at Frank and Carolines recalled a happy day for us and another happy day outside St. Francis Xavier which included my mother, Marie Liston.
During our childhood our parents would often get together to play euchre.    At Aunt Stella's and Uncle Leo's,  eavesdropping through the 2nd storey stovepipe vent above the adult card players, was a favorite past time.  We were all (usually about 8 of us at that time) supposed to be asleep in 2 double beds upstairs.   
Joan was devoted and giving and you know my heart is in it when I say I feel for you at this time and trust the
many cherished memories will sustain you in the years ahead.

Joan was an exceptional coworker at Warner Lambert, the only lady I remember smiling at all times, every day!
Every day was a good day for her!
May she rest in peace.

We will be saying goodbye to a special soul this weekend.

Her love for her family was like no other. She never forgot a  birthday of the ones she loved and she loved many, you could always expect a Birthday card in the mail from Aunt Joan :)
When she was talking to you she was truly interested in what you were saying.

My memories of her are dear to my heart and make me laugh and smile. 
I'm so lucky I had so many years with her, so many visits and so many laughs.
I am going to miss that laugh so much, she had a laugh you could hear across the room.
We had the same humour, love for polkadots and pizza with tomato and onions.

Aunt Joan lived life and enjoyed doing it HER WAY.

The Toronto Ex, owls, her giant makeup mirror, the way she set out her makeup, her suitcase that was bigger and heavier then her, her back seat driving and not even having a licence, the never ending gum, mints and goodies she would give us every time we saw her. My sister and I were the kids in school that always had gum. To all the people who were constantly getting gum off us you can thank Aunt Joan.

She made everyone feel like family the first time she met you. There was never and will ever be anyone like Aunt Joan.

Thank you for every second I had with you, always being there and supporting my dreams, always loving us with all your heart. I will miss your laugh, your love for my son and i'll miss your comments on every photo I post on Facebook.

I love you "Curly" you were the best Aunt anyone could have had. I know you are up there enjoying a beer with all our loved ones, so I will say cheers to you.

 I will miss you so much and  you will forever be in my heart xo

Joan always remembered my Mom at Christmas time and was so thoughtful to send out a xmas card to her every year! Thank you Joan for your sweetness and all the emails & cards asking about my cats, and checking in on Kevin & myself. Rest in peace. Sincerely, Lisa (college friend of Christine’s)

To the most fun loving, caring, thoughtful Aunt, thank you for all the wonderful memories.  You were always a joy to be with at family gatherings as you loved to laugh, and yes, that beautiful smile.  One of my best times with you, and there were many, was when we went to see Garth Brooks - too much fun was had !  I know my mom adored you and loved that you were such a good wife to her brother.  You will be missed everyday.  xo

Our condolences to Joan's family. We met Joan through her sister Kathy, who is a very good friend. She would visit Kathy in the summer, I remember the laughs we had with her, always a fun lady to be around, and always spreading her joie de vivre to everyone around her.

To one of Molson's best customers ha ha ha you will be missed.  I think I was your #1 son in law but when I got the job at Molson's which came with free beer I REALLY became #1.  After Connor was born and you and my Mom took turns babysitting Connor was lots of fun.  Christine mentioned Mario Karts and I can still remember playing that after dinner and Connor always came in first with either me or you in last.  We didn't even need to try and let Connor win we were that bad.    And then there are the memories of the lawn ornaments for Connors birthdays.  The year you got the giant gorilla and the bull dog was hilarious.  I don't think our neighbours knew what to think or what was going on at our house.  And I can't forget all the free gum and halls lozenges I would get when I came to your house when you were still working.  Put my gum on the top shelf wink wink ; )   
I , no we are going to miss you a ton.  You were one of a kind.  I hope they have Export on tap in heaven and your glass is always full, until we meet again Love very very much Craig.

Grandma, thank you for always showing me so much love with a big smile on your face every time we were together. I always loved spending time with you playing video games, watching movies, building Lego or just laughing together. You always showered me with your positivity towards my grades at school and always encouraged me to do well. Your compassion, kindness and love always made me feel happy, and you always gave the best hugs. I will always remember and love you everyday till the end of time itself, Love Connor. Toodles XOXO

Anyone who had the pleasure of sharing moments with my Mom knew right away that her beautiful smile, warmth and infectious laugh would make their day a better one. She was the most loving, caring and thoughtful person, and taught me the importance of taking the higher ground and putting love and friendship before animosity. She remembered and acknowledged the birthdays of literally every family member, in addition to many close friends; an extreme thoughtfulness I always admired about her. My most treasured moments are those I shared with her and my son, Connor. The bond they shared was incredible, from the moment he was born. They made each other laugh constantly, especially when playing Mario Carts together. Mom, you are forever in our hearts, and I know you will continue to look over us like the angel you have always been.  Love you forever 💖

Joanie was such a lovely lady and good friend.  I had the pleasure of getting to know Joanie through my dad and going to the Warner Lambert reunions.  Her wonderful personality, beautiful smile and  sense of humour will be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. So sad to hear, Joanie was a lovely lady who would make some days at WarnerLambert an enjoyable place to be, she will be greatly missed by all.
