Jimmy started every conversation with hi ya Sunshine and knew exactly how to bring on a smile. For me it was a good golf chat and a couple of my favourite beers...which I never had to remind him of. He was a blessing and he'll be sorely missed.

Robert and members of Jim’s family, so sorry to hear the news from Ed and Mary on Jim’s passing, I had the privilege meeting Jim on many occasions when Jim and Robert would come for their usual visit,  he always left a lasting impression, his sense of humour, , his laughter and  kind heart were a few of his many wonderful qualities You will be missed by many I am sure especially Robb, keeping you all in thought and prayer at this difficult time, May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Uncle Jim, will be missed especially this time year. With the start of the hockey season I will miss our post game phone calls and your "love hate relationship" with the Leaf's Emporium, so many good stories to remember. Halloween was always special when Uncle Jim would trick or treat with Elyse, Danielle and Harrison.  And of course the Santa Claus Parade lunch in your apartment. No matter what the weather you always took the kids to Avenue Rd for "our usual spot" to wait for Santa.
You loved your grand nieces and nephews. You were generous, kind, caring , fun and always a ray of sunshine. 
I will miss you BUT I have so many wonderful memories. We always had good laughs when together.

It was with sadness that I heard of Jim's passing from Robb.  I always looked forward to meeting Jim in the front of his home on my walks, Jim always had a smile and of course an  ....hi sunshine 🌞greeting. Rest in peace my friend,  catch up to you later.

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of Uncle Jim.  Uncle Jim and Kate were a constant in our lives growing up.  The Georgian  Bay cottage , killer scrabble games and even going to the drive in theater all come to mind. Jim would regularly visit the farm and do his best to adapt to and participate in daily farm life. 
   His sense of humor and propensity to tease are what we will always cherish.

I have too many memories with Uncle Jim to share them all.
When I was younger we talked sports, RC Paperweights and of course school. Good grades were of great importance to Uncle Jim and I learned later on why.
Vacations in Acapulco were always more fun when UJ was there. He shared his love and knowledge of the finer things in life and was always ready to answer my questions.
What I will remember most is a compassionate, fun and loving Unlce. I will miss you Uncle Jim. Love Travis 

Receiving the news of Jim’s passing was a reminder of James 4:14; “We know not what shall be tomorrow. For what are our lives? They are but like a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
I will miss Jim’s positive attitude and continual laugh.  Even as a kid when dad (Roger) would bring my grandmother(Aunt Betty) from Baden to Brampton to Aunt Dorothy’s for family gatherings, Jim stood out and left an impression.
On behalf of mom, Virginia, and myself, our condolences and prayers to the family and all those who were fortunate enough to know Jim.  My primary link to the Kline side of the family has slipped away and he will be missed.


Our condolences goes out to my Brother Robert Martin and all Jim’s family we feel your loss and sympathize with the pain everyone is going through.Jim you were a big part of our family and will be surely missed.

Jim was such a kind soul.  He had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  We will forever cherish the Toronto memorabilia that he sent to Newfoundland for our son, Jesse, because Jim knew he is a huge Leafs fan.  We'll also always have a vivid memory of Jim trying to walk our 80-pound dog, Tucker, when we met him and my uncle Robert in Terra Nova.  These are just a couple of the memories that will always remind us of the generous, fun-loving person Jim was.  His smile and laughter will remain with us forever.

Jim was a very fun loving & caring person who always had a smile.  We will cherish the memories when Jim & Robb would come for their annual visit to Newfoundland & of our golfing trips to Terra Nova.  Jim never golfed but he sure loved driving the cart and laughing every time Ed put a ball in the woods.  We can still hear him say “in the woods again Eddie”.  

Jim had a big heart, was a kind loving soul and he will be remembered & missed by all those who were fortunate to have known him.

How sad we were to hear of the sudden passing of our dear dear friend.   We know he will be missed terribly by a lot of people but most definitely by our brother Robb.  He was the life of a party and loved by everyone he met.  Especially the girls from terra Nova who would be so delighted to see Jim and Robb each year for their annual golf trip.   We loved spending time with him when he was in Newfoundland.    An amazing individual and a wonderful friend.  We won’t say goodbye we will say — So long    We will see you again in the hereafter.    

I was so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was always so happy and such a ray of Sunshine! We would love his visits to Newfoundland. 
I remember leaving my Mom’s one day. That where Jim & Rob. would stay when they came to visit.  I was backing into a busy road. Jim , was afraid I would have an accident. So, he went and stood in the middle of the Intersection and made all the other cars stop.  he then yelled to me “Come on Rita, it’s safe for you to back out now”  He walked off after I backed out.  Laughing and waving to the cars that had stopped. 
He was loved by our whole family and will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace dear Jim! Until we meet again.   Rita & John 

Such a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed immensely. His little sayings will be forever with me. So, "sunshine", rest in peace.

It was nice to have the honour of knowing you even if it was a short time. You always had a smile and made my day better every time I seen or spoke to you. Rest In Peace James you will be missed.

There was sadness in Baden yesterday when my Dad, Mike Weiler told me Jim had passed away. 

He was a happy and very caring man. When Mom, Norma was sick he made frequent phone calls to keep abreast of her progress.  Jim's calls were always upbeat, encouraging and sincere.  And then there were his "just thinking about you" cards he would mail.  They always brought a smile to Mom and Dad's life. 

Jim will be dearly missed and always remembered 



Dear Uncle Jim,
You will be missed. I now don't have my go to guy for family history and wait for it..... the scoop!
You were a wonderful Uncle/Uncle-in-law, Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle. I will miss our chats and telephone tag.
I (Cyndy), Tony, Jen, Mike, Maggie, Morgan, Dave, Ashley, Kendal, Jay, Hannah, and Ava will all miss you.
 As a little girl you were the best because you always would ask "what are you doing.... are you getting paid for that!!" hence an allowance issue with my folks! You passed that little ploy to my children and grandchildren as well!! The older girls are still trying to negotiate a " oooh I helped, what are you paying me? Cause Uncle Jim said....."
 I will truly miss our relationship and chats and all the memories.
Santa Claus parades in Toronto, school supplies so we could play school teacher, shopping!!! Family history and visits in Toronto as well as here in Williamstown. 
 As an Adult I really enjoyed and appreciated your wealth of knowledge in so many areas but especially the connection you were able to provide me with in reference to our Weiler/Kline history. I had never been to Baden and it was you and I that made that great trip in 2010 to visit where Grandpa and Grandma grew up and that trip allowed me to meet some of our awesome Weiler famliy members. I kept saying we need to do that again and bring Tony... maybe we can still do that and think of you.

Never will forget  Jim coming over at Christmas when I was a child.
