It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of James (Jim) Sheppard, Jr. on Thursday February 11 at North York General Hospital. In his 68th year, Jim was the much-loved father of James III, stepfather of Emily and Jason, cherished brother of Judy and Janice (Stephen Webster), and nephew of Marina Barrett and Beatty Barrett. He is also survived by many cousins. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James Sr. (1978) and Mary (2010). A private funeral and interment will take place on Wednesday February 17 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All friends and family are invited to view the live webcast at that time. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully appreciated to Fighting Blindness Canada, Sleeping Children Around The World, or a charity of your choice.
