Dear Lee, Suzanne, and family: We are so very sorry to learn of George's passing. He was such a strong and vibrant part of KRU and the choir. We will miss his smile and voice. We will always remember his blinking Christmas accessories at the annual December potluck and carol singing that Lee and George hosted so graciously at their condo party room. George will be missed by all. I had the lucky privilege to volunteer with George at black creek pioneer village.  I will always remember our talks on the slow days. The excitement of meeting people from all over the world and how he you could make any visitors feel at home.

Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing he had great business sense and a sharp intellect,always a great guy to talk to.I remember a couple of the staff parties at the fallingbrook house were alot of fun. We still have a home movie of him appearing in a production of joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at Kingston Rd. Loved him so much. No matter where we were in Canada, he always made a point of giving a call and keeping in touch.  Always there when we needed him.  A great man (and a terrific uncle).  Will be sorely missed.

Dear Lee: I am so sorry to hear of George's passing.  Whenever I thought or spoke of of him, his name was always followed by "Such a lovely man". He truly was.   My condolences to you and your family.

We'll always remember George's vitality, regaling the table at Dinner on the Danforth, singing in the choir, leading canoe trips and volunteering for dozens of assignments. He leaves a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed.

Sue, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's  passing. Losing a parent leaves a large gap in our lives that no one else can fill. Four years after losing my Dad, I still have little jobs that I think that "I'll get Dad to do" for me.

Lee and Family, very sad news... George was a very special fellow to be sure. I loved hearing his interesting stories and facts on a wide variety of topics! I remember when he lovingly prepared a ton of oatmeal on a canoe trip we were on so when the rest of us rolled out of our tents - breakfast was ready! Indicative of his caring nature. And his "I don't get mad, I just get even." Sorry we can't be there to celebrate his life, we are away. We will, however, be with you all in spirit.

George was dearly loved at Acacia Lodge and we're all saddened by his passing. Lee, my condolences to you and yours. He'll be greatly missed at Acacia.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of George. He was a very good person. My thoughts are with you Lee.

George was a man I liked.  I remember one time seeing him at Home Depot buying lumber.  He stopped and talk in such a good natured way about the project he had to do.  Then he talked about a few more things, we had a laugh or two and he carried on with his work.
Very few people can make a  lumber purchase and have me remember it fondly a dozen years later.
He was a very good man.

Patricia, Suzanne, Theresa, Allison -  I can't think of what to say or how to express my sadness. I have so many memories of your father, from the house on Glen Manor, did it have a revolving door? It should have, since we were always coming and going. Then later to George and Lei on Fallingbrook. Your father holds a special place in my heart. I will always remember him fondly.

Lee and family.  We are so sorry to hear of George's passing.  George was one of the warmest,  most generous people we have met. He welcomed us with open arms to the Kingston Road United Church community a few years ago and quickly made us feel as though we had always belonged.  His friendship helped us through a time of great loss.

Dear Lee. My condolences. In his participation and leadership of five Algonquin canoe trips starting in 2002, George played a big role in bringing me back to church, for which I am so grateful. In Algonquin, at your magical cottage, and in the choir at KRU, I have many wonderful memories of George as a person and as a leader. Lee & Families: we were deeply saddened to hear of George's passing. He was very dedicated, a prince among men. He loved his music.
