Peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Sunday, September 11, 2011 in his 80th year. Formerly employed with over 30 years service at Canada Post. Will be sadly missed by Elaine, his loving wife of 55 years, daughter Lynda, brother Lewis of Cherrybrook, Nova Scotia, many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and a host of friends. He will lovingly be remembered by all the lives he touched. Predeceased by father Walter, mother Inez, brothers Walter, Lawrence, Reginald, Ernest, Clyde and sister Vola. The family will receive friends at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME, 2570 Danforth Avenue (at Main) on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p,m., and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Grant African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2029 Gerrard Street East, Toronto (east of Woodbine) on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
