Draga Crenguta,
Primeste, te rugam, sincerele noastre condoleante pentru greaua pierdere a scumpului tau sot Eugen. 
Iti impartasim durerea si ne rugam la Bunul Dumnezeu sa-i limpezeasca drumul lui Eugen spre lumina - pe care si el, la randul lui, a purtat-o alaturi de tine prin lume, cu toate sperantele si eforturile depuse intr-o viata de lupta neintrerupta. 
Firul vietii lui s-a rupt prea devreme, dar intensitatea stradaniei lui ramane si iradiaza, dupa cum bine scrii. 
Mama il stie pe cand era mic, eu l-am vazut o singura data, dar el de pe atunci inspira blandete si cumintenie, caldura sufleteasca de nenumarate carate, si un curaj deosebit de inalta speta.
Faptul ca a purtat numele sorei mamei si matusii mele ni l-a adus mereu in amintire cu atat mai mult cu cat voi ati trait mai aproape de ea atatia ani... Si socul resimtit acum, la stingerea lui la scurt timp dupa Nasa lui, ne rascoleste si mai mult sufletele.
Stim ce simti si ne rugam sa ai taria sa mergi mai departe pastrandu-i memoria vie.
Dumnezeu sa-l ierte si sa-l odihneasca in pace!
