Betty, you will always have a place in my heart.  I hold all the wonderful memories from growing up and our trip to BC especially close. To all of Betty's family: Words could not cover how I feel today. Family was the most important thing to your mother. She was a very special person to me. When I hear songs on the radio that she used to sing at karaoke I shed a few tears. She loved to sing and I will miss her lovely voice. I know she is up in heaven singing with angels now. We will also miss her going out for coffee. We used to meet every Wednesday night at Tim Hortons and catch up with things that happened through the week and she would show off her pictures of her grandchildren. She loved her Family so much. I am so deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my oldest friend, Betty.  We first knew one another in Kindergarten at Danforth Park School in East York and then we went through all of our school years together at Gledhill, Oak Park Jr. High and EYCI.  Betty and I were among 6 students who were selected when we were in Grade 6 to sing in a mass choir at Massey Hall and what a thrill it was.  I always remember how beautiful Betty's voice was.

When we became adults, our children were together at Secord School and it was back in the early 1970's that I suggested that Betty might want to think about moving into the new housing co-op, Chadwick Co-op, that I helped to found and lived in.  I was thrilled when she took me up on it and we became neighbours once again!

So many memories and happy times we had together and there was never a negative word spoken about Betty.  She will be so terribly missed by all of her family and friends!  I know I will miss her.

Betty brought smiles to us everytime we saw her. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and we miss her greatly. Betty will never be far from our thoughts or hearts.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who miss her.
