Domenico Castelli

Domenico Castelli passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 93. Born January 15, 1927 in Santa Croce Di Magliano, Italy, he was the eldest of five children born to Matteo and Filomena Castelli. He is predeceased by his siblings Carlo, Dante and Elsa and survived by his loving sister Miranda. He was a beloved husband of 62 years to Anna, loving father to Matthew (Rose) and Maria and adored grandfather to Andrea (Tom), Jenna, Daniella and Samantha. Domenico immigrated to Canada in 1953 and worked tirelessly to bring his family here in search of a better life. As his father passed away at a young age, Domenico took on the role of family patriarch. While he guided his family with a no non-sense approach, it was clear he had an immense amount of love and pride. He will be remembered fondly and forever missed by his loved ones for his endless wit and life lessons.

Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic conditions, the visiting and funeral mass will be PRIVATE and attended by family members only.
