Dave will be remembered for his dry wit and sense of humour, along with his determination to provide stability and support for his family. He joined the Toronto Police Service in 1969 and served the majority of his career as a Police Constable at 12 Division before transferring to the Mounted Unit; he retired in 1999.
Dave served for many years as a dedicated council member of the Knights of Columbus. He was Treasurer of the Toronto Flying Roller (Pigeon) Club and eventually his hobby advanced to including exotic and colourful species of feathered friends. He was known for his love of horses and all kinds of animals, especially his dogs.
As a family, our activities were determined by which baseball team was playing on any given day or time. As an enthusiastic member of the Toronto Blue Jays Fan Club many trips were enjoyed in Dunedin Florida. Right up until the end of his life, Dave was still an avid baseball fan. Dave will be missed by his family and friends.
