My sincerest condolences to the family. I have worked with Dave for 20+ years. His level of compassion for others and his willingness to help anybody out out in a jam was always a comfort. You always knew that if Dave was onsight, problems would be resolved. He was the best worker/operator of all types of machinery.  He truly loved his job along with working with coworkers. He will be missed by many of us in the electrical department.

He's was a funny man.knowing him for nearly 40years it was never dull around David always a smile.my heart goes out to his daughter Nadine who never left his side.may u find health and happiness going forward I the life we lead.your father must have been very proud

Nadine and family, my sincerest condolences.  The picture is Dave on the snow thrower at Greenwood Yard. I walked past him a few minutes later and he used it to bury me in snow up to about my waist. Dave was a passionate, hard worker who knew how to have fun and love life. He will be greatly missed.

This is our other grandson, Evan who is not as adventurous as his brother Lucas. Dave had to do something to include Evan so he took him out on his boat and let him drive it. This is a man who truly cared about making everyone happy and ensuring that you’re having a good time. Evan will never forget his kindness.

This pic is of the first time Dave met our grandson Lucas. Dave was so kind to Lucas, he loved Lucas’s adventurous spirit. He taught Lucas how to ride a dirt bike, He treated him as if he was own grandson. 
Lucas is heart broken 💔 he said he will always remember him and will miss him.

When I first started at the TTC, I met Davey and said some kind of joke and Dave laughed and said “you’re alright kid, you’ll fit right in here”, and that was it. From that moment I knew I was apart of the Greenwood family. Dave and I spent many summer nights sitting on his front porch just talking about life, he asked me about my family and experiences and I did the same to him, and I knew then that he was a special kind of man. The kind of man who spoke his mind, who would go out of his way to help someone out without wanting something in return, and the kind of man everyone will miss terribly. I only knew you for 5 years Davey, but you left an impression on me that will last a life time. My deepest and most sincere condolences to Nadine and Noah, and to his family and friends. 
 We love you and we will miss you so much Davey!

Nadine … I am incredibly sorry that you are having to endure this loss so early in both of your lives. You father was one of the kindest men I have ever had the opportunity to know. If you were thirsty, he brought you a drink. If you were hungry, he made sure you ate. If it was broke and he couldn’t fist it, well, he’d repurpose it and we’d use it for something else. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that we all loved him. I’m not talking about just Taylor and Zack, who he treated as if they were his own grandchildren, but even my parents always felt better when he was a part of their plans. 

Lean on Noah. You’re no slouch when it comes to taking on life’s challenges. Face this head on and you’ll be through the pain and on to enjoying the great memories.
