Mrs. Chryssanthe Mitanis

Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home

Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 95 with her two daughters, son-in-law and family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Jim.

Cherished mother of Sophie (late Stanley) Zaraliakos and Christine (Mike) Gojamanis and predeceased by her son Chris (Lisa) Mitanis.

Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Loving sister of Erimioni (late Tom) Papafotiou, Louie (Sandra) Sideris, Peter (Margie) Sideris and Perry (Sophia) Sideris. Predeceased by her brothers Thanasis (late Fona) Sideris and George (late Evgania) Sideris. Also predeceased by her sister Sophia (late Elea) Sanders. Will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of VHA (Home Healthcare) for their excellent work.

The family will be receiving friends at TRULL FUNERAL HOME DANFORTH CHAPEL, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 between the hours of 2-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive, East York.

Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
