Mr. Antonio "Tony" Lopez Mendoza

Tony is survived by his wife Nita of 53 years, daughters Ching Mendoza, Gigi Mendoza, Cielo (Oliver) Tadeo, Anna (Frederick) Tan, sons Paolo (Stephanie) Mendoza and Toby Mendoza, brothers Toby (Rose) Mendoza, Larry (Precy) Mendoza, grandsons Nathan, Adrian and Mico Tadeo, Andrei Joseph Tan, granddaughters Sarah and Fiona Alsafi, Pauline Mendoza, Bernadette Tan and Isla Maeve Tadeo. Tony is a devoted, loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone.

He owned his Auto Supply Parts and Hardware business before migrating to Canada. He gave up the business eventually to pursue his passion of serving God and the people. One will find him doing bible studies, feeding the poor, visiting and feeding people in prison, who are sick or dying, leading and organizing prayer meetings. He had been very active with different groups such as Charismatic and Marriage Enrichment.

A special thank you to the people of Kensington Hospice in Toronto for their loving care and support during his final days.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Homes on Sunday, January 19. Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, January 20 at 10:00 AM. Tony will be laid to rest at Glen Oak Cemetery in Oakville, Ontario.
