Anthony “Tony” Auciello, husband of Philomena Tourett, passed away peacefully at age 68, on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Humber River Hospital in Toronto. He was born October 2, 1949, in Anzano di Puglia, Italy. He worked as a Master Plumber, running his own business, Metro Plumbing and Mechanical. He was incredibly passionate about his career, and was always helping family and friends. He proudly owned a 1966 red Mustang Convertible, which he enjoyed working on throughout the year and taking for casual drives in the nicer weather.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Philomena, his mother, Vincenza, (the late Angelo Auciello); his brother, Rocco Auciello and his wife, Iolanda; his sisters, Mina Auciello and her husband, Peter, Maria Atkins, Anna Mikhael, as well as his stepdaughters, Eileen Harrison and her husband, Lloyd, Kimberly Astles and her husband, Dean, Jacqueline Tourett and her common-law husband, Graham, and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a step-great-grandson and many friends.
A visitation for Tony will be held at the Jerrett North York Funeral Home 6191 Yonge St. (South of Steeles Ave.) on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A memorial service will occur Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
