Yvonne Diane Terry

Yvonne Diane Terry, age 62, passed away on January 14, 2021 due to complications of COVID at Southern Ocean Medical Center. She was born on March 27, 1958 in South Amboy, NJ to Michael and Grace Yenchick. Yvonne is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Grace Yenchick; brother, Kevin Yenchick; and son, Matthew Terry.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Ancil Terry; three children, Kimberly Brown (Shane), Ancil Terry, Jr. (Yvette) and Dana Brennan (Shaun); nine grandchildren (Ancil, Zen, Angela, Brian, Mason, Vincent, Nathan, Carter, and Autumn); and her sister, Joan Swiatkowski (Dick); and brother, Mikel Jenczik (Becky); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Yvonne met her lifelong love and lifelong friend as kids. She married her teenage sweetheart, Ancil Terry, and they recently celebrated 47 beautiful years. Yvonne and Ancil were young parents that raised their four children together. Yvonne worked in retail and later returned to school to get several certifications and become a phlebotomist, working at Labcorp.

Yvonne was a beautiful wife, loving mother, compassionate woman, and Ancil’s best friend with an amazing heart for her family and loved ones. She enjoyed nature, especially watching her hummingbirds, going on vacations, taking walks with her dogs (Oreo and Chopper), her favorite dessert (rice pudding), and a cup of tea along with a good Hallmark movie. She was known for her amazing, contagious laughter. She would light up a room and anyone in it was unable to control themselves. Yvonne will be missed tremendously.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
