William C. Hoffmann, 73, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 5, 2015, after bravely battling a long illness. Raised in Little Silver by William and May Hoffmann, he lived most of his life in Toms River with the love of his life and wife of 44 years. Bill followed his passions of traveling, photography, reading and riding his Harley. He was known for his smile that could light up a room, kind words and joking with everyone. His passions also included his four cherished grand kids who called him “Pop”.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Diane and Ginny. He is survived by his loving wife Roxanne (Dale); his son Billy and his daughter-in-law Lisa of Farmingdale; his daughter Jennifer Welter and son-in law Michael of Neptune and his daughter Karyn Adams and son-in-law Todd of Toms River. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jacob, Brooke, Nathan and Christopher. He leaves behind many cherished friends and family, who called him “Uncle Billy and “Papa Hoffmann”.
He will be truly missed and never forgotten thanks to so many wonderful memories. We will gather to celebrate his life Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ.
