Thomas Bilotta, 84, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on February 1st, 2015. He was born and raised in Long Branch, and lived there until moving to Toms River in 1990. Thomas was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a Boiler Fireman for over thirty years at Fort Monmouth Army Base. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, trips to Atlantic City, and off track betting. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Gladys Bilotta; their children Mary and Ralph De Simone, Carole and Doug Rokisky, and Tina Renda; his grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, Jonathan, Nicole, Sean, Justin, Thomas and Erik; four great-grandchildren; and his sisters Catherine and Rose.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 5th, from 4 to 9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Friday, February 6th, at St. Joseph Church in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
