Samuel D. Costello, 75, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Born on August 7, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Ralph and Santa (Domanico) Costello, he lived in Sayreville for 29 years prior to moving to Toms River 6 years ago.
Mr. Costello was a freelance photographer all of his life. He was also a member of the Ocean County Modelers.
Mr. Costello is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara J. Costello of Toms River, his two sons, Steven and Michael Costello both of Toms River and his grandson, Nicholas Costello of Sayreville. He is also survived by his four cousins, Nick Domanico, Robert and his wife Sandy Santoli and Lorraine Santoli.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30am at the St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
