Robert H Schwarz

Robert Henry Schwarz, 73, of Toms River passed away on Monday January 6th, 2014 surrounded by family. Born in Newark, Robert resided in Union prior to moving to Toms River in 2004. Robert was active with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in Union, and he was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4504 of Union. Robert was employed by The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority from 1975-2004 as a Teamster Foreman with Teamster Local 560 of Union City. Surviving is his loving wife, Beverly (nee Fano) of 50 years, sons Robert and wife Donna of Union, John and wife Tina of Roselle Park, Joseph and wife Marie of Wenatchee (WA), Jeffrey of Garwood, grandchildren Christina, Robert, Gianna, Thomas and Rebecca, brother Donald and wife Joan of Toms River, step-grandchildren Jason and Dana Hirschy, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday January 10th, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River 08757. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday January 11th, 2014 at 12pm at St. John R. C. Church in Lakehurst. Interment will be private.
